Green CO2 Systems

Food grade nitrogen, delivered or generated on site

As a nitrogen gas supplier we do this two ways: deliver it in cylinders, or install a generator that produces nitrogen on site from compressed air so you stop paying to have nitrogen trucked to you at all.

Delivered nitrogen

Food-grade nitrogen in cylinders, on the same route as your CO2, from the same account manager. For most sites this is the sensible starting point and it stays sensible until consumption climbs.

  • Food-grade N2 certified for beverage and food contact
  • Cylinder sizes matched to your usage
  • Same route, same schedule, same invoice as your CO2

On-site nitrogen generation

A nitrogen generator takes clean compressed air you already have and separates out high purity nitrogen using membrane technology. Once it is in, the gas is effectively free at the point of use and you have removed an entire delivery dependency from your operation.

The NITRO-DRAUGHT generators we install do this in three models, the NITRO-DRAUGHT 1200 Basic, Pro Basic and Max Basic, and pairs with the TruFusion blender so the generated nitrogen can be mixed with CO2 to whatever blend your draft system needs.

When generation beats delivery

The math turns at a fairly predictable point. If you are getting through nitrogen cylinders regularly, the generator pays for itself and then keeps paying. If your nitrogen use is occasional, cylinders remain cheaper and we will say so.

The assessment runs that calculation with your actual consumption rather than a brochure figure.

What nitrogen is used for on the sites we serve

Long draw beer lines, nitro pours, packaging and product blanketing. In each case the reason is the same: nitrogen is inert and does not dissolve into the product the way CO2 does, so it can push without over-carbonating.

Nitrogen cylinder supplier or generator supplier

As a nitrogen supplier we can be either. As a nitrogen cylinder supplier we deliver food grade N2 on your existing route. As a nitrogen generator supplier we install a unit that produces nitrogen on site from compressed air.

As a nitrogen tank supplier the sizing matters more than the badge on the bottle: a tank sized to your average rather than your peak is the one that runs out mid-service. Talk to us about the draw before assuming which form you need.

Cylinders or a generator, by the numbers

The decision turns on consumption, not on preference. These are the factors we weigh during the assessment.

Delivered cylinders suit you if

  • Nitrogen use is occasional or seasonal
  • You have limited plant space or no compressed air supply
  • You want the lowest entry cost
  • Your draft system is short and mostly runs straight CO2

A generator suits you if

  • You take nitrogen cylinders regularly, month after month
  • You already run a clean compressed air supply
  • You run nitro pours or long draw lines
  • A missed nitrogen delivery would stop service

One nitrogen gas supplier across six metros

We deliver food-grade nitrogen out of Oklahoma City, Denver, Fort Collins and Las Vegas on the same routes as our CO2, and we install and service NITRO-DRAUGHT generators in every market we serve. Breweries in Northern Colorado, high-volume bars in Las Vegas and multi-site groups in Oklahoma all end up asking the same question, cylinders or a generator, and the assessment answers it from measured consumption rather than a guess.

Either way it is one account, one Territory Sales Manager and one invoice. Be green, save green applies to nitrogen too: a generator running from your own compressed air removes a truck from the road and a delivery dependency from your week.

Handling and storage

Nitrogen is inert in these applications and non-toxic, which makes it easy to underestimate. The hazard is not the gas itself, it is displacement: in an enclosed space, escaping nitrogen pushes out oxygen without any warning smell or taste.

The same monitoring discipline that applies to CO2 storage applies here. Where nitrogen is stored or generated in an enclosed occupied space, that space needs to be monitored.

Common questions

Yes. Nitrogen goes on your existing route, schedule and invoice, which is the practical reason to take both from one supplier rather than two.

The NITRO-DRAUGHT produces high purity food grade nitrogen from a clean compressed air supply. The exact purity is set to your application when the unit is specified.
