High pressure, not cryogenic
Low-pressure cryogenic bulk systems hold CO2 as a very cold liquid. As it warms, pressure rises and a relief valve vents the excess. That venting is continuous, it is worst when the system sits idle, and it is gas you already paid for.
A high-pressure system does not work that way. It stays sealed, there is no routine venting cycle, and the delivered volume and the used volume stay close to the same number.
