About Green CO2 Systems

Green CO2 Systems is the industry leader in innovative CO2 solutions that help your business be green and save green. We started with an idea in Fort Collins in 2010, developed a patented valve around it, and grew a family of customers across Colorado, Oklahoma and Las Vegas by delivering carbon dioxide faster, safer and with no venting.

Our story

It all started with an idea. Delivering Carbon Dioxide around Fort Collins, it became clear that the method being used to fill the large cryo-vac bulk Carbon Dioxide tanks was wildly inefficient and WASTEFUL to the customer. So we developed what would end up being the next best thing in bulk gas delivery and storage. The innovative Diverter Valve technology allowed Carbon Dioxide to be delivered to a customer faster, safer and with NO venting. It also eliminated the natural evaporation waste vented off by the large cryo-vac tanks when not in use. Tests showed this technology would save cryo-vac bulk customers 20-50% on their monthly CO2 bill.

That idea became Green CO2 Systems, founded in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2010. We brought the technology to market and built our second family, customer by customer, brick by brick.

That was just the beginning. We have since grown to cover the front range of Colorado and expanded to Las Vegas and Oklahoma with ambitions to reach from coast to coast. From our delivery team providing exceptional customer experiences time and time again, to our forward-thinking R&D team staying ahead of the technological curve, and the ever-changing industry standards, Green CO2 Systems has grown as quickly as we have because we wake up every day challenging ourselves to find a better way to help make our customers' businesses safer and more profitable.

What we build

Permanent high-pressure CO2 storage that stays fully enclosed, filled from an outside box so a delivery never interrupts your business. The component that makes it possible is our patented DS6000 Differential Diverter Valve, which links multiple high-pressure cylinders into a single sealed bulk system.

That is unusual in this trade. By building our own means the wear parts are minimal and replaceable by our own technicians, and a fault is our problem to solve rather than a conversation between you and a manufacturer. That is the whole Green CO2 systems story: a green CO2 company that engineers the waste out first and delivers second.

Zero

routine venting on a Green CO2 system, so the volume you are billed for and the volume you use stay the same number

Why the enclosed part matters twice

Savings first. No routine venting cycle means you get the benefit of what you pay for, which is not true of most systems we replace. Be green and save green is not a slogan, it is how the equipment works.

Then quality. A loop that is never opened to atmosphere has far fewer opportunities for impurities to enter. For a brewery protecting beer from oxygen, or anyone whose gas ends up in something a customer drinks, that is not a small detail.

How we operate

Four depots, each running local routes to the markets around it, rather than one central warehouse trying to cover everything. Local stock is what keeps a route schedule reliable.

Deliveries run on a route built from each customer's measured usage, and telemetry lets us see levels before they become a problem. Existing customers can reach our on-call service technicians after hours.

  • Depots in Oklahoma City, Denver, Fort Collins and Las Vegas
  • Colorado Springs and Tulsa served on planned corridor routes
  • Route delivery built from measured usage
  • Our own equipment, serviced by our own technicians
  • Beverage-grade CO2 and food-grade nitrogen

The part we say out loud

If a bulk system does not make sense for your volume, we will tell you and put you on cylinder exchange instead. A supplier who sells everyone the largest thing in the catalog gets one good year and a churn problem. Family first means telling you the truth at step one.

Common questions

Micro Bulk CO2, nitrogen and blended beverage gas, plus the storage, blending, monitoring and safety equipment, plus the installation and servicing. One supplier for the whole chain.

Six metros from four depots: Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Las Vegas. Colorado Springs is served from our Denver depot and Tulsa from Oklahoma City.
