The failsafe is the important line

If either input gas stops, the built in shut off valve stops all gas flow. That sounds drastic until you consider the alternative: a blender that keeps running on whichever gas is still present, quietly serving your customers beer at the wrong blend for however long it takes somebody to notice.

Stopping is the correct behavior, because it protects product quality and it tells you immediately that something needs attention.

No electricity, no drift

Requiring no power means one less thing to fail behind a bar and one less cable in a wet environment. Requiring no ongoing adjustment means the blend you set in week one is the blend you have in week thirty.

For a venue that changes bar staff regularly, equipment that cannot be casually adjusted is a feature rather than a limitation.

Choosing a beer gas blender

A draft beer gas blender is judged on whether it holds its ratio under load, not on what it reads when first commissioned. A CO2 N2 blender that drifts across a busy weekend gives you a different pour on Sunday than on Thursday.

The TruFusion beer gas blender holds to plus or minus 2 percent or better and needs no adjustment, which is why the blend you set at install is the blend you still have months later.

Common questions

A blender holds one pre-set ratio. Sites running both standard draft and nitro typically run separate gas to each, specified at install.

Yes. It pairs with straight nitrogen cylinders or with a NITRO-DRAUGHT generator, depending on your usage.
