Beverage gas in Fort Collins

Beverage gas in Fort Collins mostly means breweries and taprooms, and every one of them pours at about 5,000 feet of elevation. We supply beverage-grade CO2, food-grade nitrogen and blended beer gas from our Prospect Park Way depot, set for the altitude and the length of your lines.

Beer gas in Fort Collins, from brewhouse to taproom

A brewery account here usually covers three different gas needs: CO2 for production and packaging, blended gas for the taproom's longer runs, and straight CO2 for any fountain or kegerator behind the bar. We spec each one rather than send one gas for all three.

At about 5,000 feet, the Brewers Association rule of adding 1 psi per 2,000 feet of elevation puts Fort Collins regulators roughly 2.5 psi above a sea-level chart. A taproom that copied its settings from a coastal guide is usually pouring slightly flat beer and blaming the batch.

Great system for our Production Output and Tap Room Supply! We are very happy with your product and service!

CO2 for restaurants in Fort Collins

Restaurants in Old Town and along College Avenue mostly need straight CO2 for fountain and a short draft run. Seasonal swings are real in a university town, so a schedule built from measured usage matters more than a fixed weekly drop: the telemetry included on every account shows when volume changes.

  • Beverage-grade CO2 for fountain and short draft lines
  • Blended beer gas held to plus or minus 2 percent by the TruFusion blender
  • Food-grade nitrogen for nitro handles, in cylinders or generated on site
  • Production CO2 for brewing and packaging on the same account

Common questions

Start from the chart for your beer and temperature, then add about 2.5 psi for the elevation, following the Brewers Association rule of 1 psi per 2,000 feet. We set and check it on site.
