Beverage gas in Oklahoma City

Beverage gas in Oklahoma City means beverage-grade CO2, food-grade nitrogen and blended beer gas for bars, restaurants, taprooms and convenience store fountains, delivered from our depot on N. Garnett Drive. At about 1,200 feet, the city needs only a small altitude correction, so the work here is mostly blend and line balance.

Beer gas in Oklahoma City: blend first, pressure second

The Brewers Association rule adds about 1 psi to the regulator per 2,000 feet of elevation, which at Oklahoma City's height is around half a psi. That is small enough that foam problems here almost always come from the gas mix and line balance instead.

Straight CO2 at the pressure needed to push beer through a long run over-carbonates it in transit. We measure run length, rise and cooler temperature and set a CO2 and nitrogen blend held to plus or minus 2 percent by the TruFusion blender.

CO2 for restaurants in Oklahoma City and fountain drinks at the pump

Restaurants usually need straight CO2 for fountain soda and a short draft run. Convenience stores along the interstates need fountain CO2 that holds carbonation through a busy day. Both are the same beverage-grade gas, on the same delivery and the same account as any blended gas you use.

  • Fountain CO2 for restaurants and convenience stores
  • Blended beer gas for long draft runs and nitro handles
  • Food-grade nitrogen in cylinders or generated on site
  • External fill box delivery where bulk is installed

Taprooms across the state

Because our Oklahoma service area is statewide, a taproom in Norman or Stillwater gets the same gas and the same blend set-up as one downtown. The difference is planning: distance from the depot shapes how much storage we recommend on site.

Common questions

Only slightly, about half a psi by the Brewers Association rule of 1 psi per 2,000 feet. Blend and line balance matter far more here.

Yes. Fountain CO2 is beverage grade and can be supplied by cylinder exchange or a bulk system with an external fill box.

We supply the nitrogen and blends for nitro pours, as gas or from an on-site generator. We do not supply the dispensing equipment for coffee.
