Our Story
It all started with an idea. Co-Founder, Dan Schneider was delivering Carbon Dioxide, and it became clear that the method being used to fill the large cryo-vac bulk Carbon Dioxide tanks was wildly inefficient and WASTEFUL to the customer. Dan then developed what would end up being the next best thing in bulk gas delivery and storage. The innovative Diverter Valve technology allowed Carbon Dioxide to be delivered to a customer faster, safer and with NO venting. It also eliminated the natural evaporation waste vented off by the large cryo-vac tanks when not in use. Tests showed this technology would save cryo-vac bulk customers 20-50% on their monthly CO2 bill.
Dan brought this technology to Mike Schutte who immediately saw the potential in Dan’s new idea. Mike brought his son, Brett Schutte into the fold and just like that, Green CO2 Systems was born. Dan provided the technology, Mike, the business knowhow, while Brett brought the technology to market and built our second family, customer by customer, brick by brick.
That was just the beginning… We have since grown to cover the front range of Colorado and expanded to Las Vegas and Oklahoma with ambitions to reach from coast to coast. From our delivery team providing exceptional customer experiences time and time again, to our forward-thinking R&D team staying ahead of the technological curve, and the ever-changing industry standards, Green CO2 Systems has grown as quickly as we have because we wake up every day challenging ourselves to find a better way to help make our customers’ businesses safer and more profitable.

Since our inception in 2010, founders Dan Schneider, Mike Schutte and Brett Schutte agreed that Green CO2 Systems would always conduct business in the most fair and ethical manner, always doing what is best for the customer despite not always being what is in the best interest of the company.
